Junior High Kids' Funny Test Answers
The majority of my junior high years were spent trying to fit in and adjusting to the new class schedules. Trying to comprehend pre-algebra was a mental challenge. I was not the most studious adolescent; in fact, I spent most of my time out of the classroom, pretending to be sick at home.
For me, a test was overwhelming, let alone a basic quiz of knowledge. Given that I barely studied, my responses at the time were somewhat humorous. But you must believe me when I tell you that they were actually quite sincere.
Since the questions were garbled bits of information my mind couldn't process, I simply wrote whatever came to my mind in response. The reason for this is another story, and I may have to post an article on this in the near future.
Today as an educator, I come across some interesting test answers to questions I'm sure baffle the mind of many adults. I love how the young mind responds with quick wit. I decided to share some of the most recent findings with readers.
Yes, have a good laugh; but remember, some of the responses are written with serious intentions. You just have to admire the adolescent spirit of creativity!

Glenn Stok from Long Island, NY on August 14, 2015:
You had me cracking up all the way through this hub. Totally hilarious! But it's also very meaningful to see how intelligent kids can be when they are still so innocent.
I noticed how they tried to put logic to determining the answers. That's what made it so funny - they made sense in a sort of round-about way.
I just found this hub now, but congratulations for being selected as Hub Of The Day last year.
Susie Lehto from Minnesota on January 21, 2015:
You got me laughing so hard, and remembering some of the answers my own kids would give on tests in home school. This is funny! I'll be chuckling the rest of the day, thank you.

Brite-ideas, yes, we teachers see these answers now and then and we have to keep a straight face! I will have to post a second article soon on these responses.

Theses test answers are great! Unfortunately, however, I am not too surprised given our society promotes via mass advertising virtues that collect at other end of the spectrum - far away from improving one's intellect in more meaningful ways.

Congrats on HOTD. This was so fun to read. I do have a confession though...even though I was a straight A student, I was always sooo tempted to give some witty answers like this on purpose. Especially if tests were worded so that they could be taken two ways. I resisted, but it was hard. :) You never know...could just be some brilliant future comedians in there somewhere. Voting up!
